To celebrate National Youth Arts Week and National Youth Week, the Region of Peel and their community partners showcased art pieces from the Express Yourself Media Arts Contest at the Peel Art Gallery Museum + Archives (PAMA) from May 1st-7th, 2013.

Poems, artwork and videos created by participants in the contest were displayed throughout the gallery.

The Express Yourself Media Arts Contest was held last year asking Peel youth to use their creativity through poetry, song, art, photography or video to express how youth violence impacted them or what could be done to prevent it.

Thank-you to everyone who participated and congratulations to all the winners!
